TECHNOLOGIES’ ERMANCO BRAND AWARDED A $350,000 CONTRACT TO AUTOMATE

EASTON, PA — September 20, 2004 -- Paragon
Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:PTG), a leading supplier of “smart” material
handling solutions, including systems, technologies, products and services,
announced today that its Ermanco brand has received an order for approximately
$350,000 to provide a material handling system for a manufacturer of
pipe and tube working tools. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
