PARAGON TECHNOLOGIES’ SI SYSTEMS BRAND AWARDED A $750,000 CONTRACT FROM A HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY LEADER

EASTON, PA — July 24, 2003 -- Paragon Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: PTG), a leading supplier of “smart” material handling solutions, including systems, technologies, products and services, today announced that its SI Systems brand was awarded a contract for $750,000 to relocate and modernize an order fulfillment system for a healthcare industry leader.  The system utilizes SI Systems’ DISPEN-SI-MATIC hardware and software technologies and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2004.  Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
