AUTOMATED ORDER SELECTION SYSTEM

PA December 30, 2002 -- Paragon Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: PTG), a leading deliverer of "smart" material handling solutions, including systems, technologies, products and services, today announced that its SI Systems brand received an order from Office Depot to design, build, and install a state-of-the-art automated order selection system. The system will be installed in the Office Depot distribution center at Signal Hill, California, and will incorporate SI Systems' DISPEN-SI-MATICT technology.
