PARAGON TECHNOLOGIES’ SI SYSTEMS PRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY BRAND AWARDED AN $875,000 CONTRACT FOR A REFRIGERATOR ASSEMBLY CONVEYOR SYSTEM

 

 

EASTON, PA — March 9, 2006 -- Paragon Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:PTG), a leading supplier of “smart” material handling systems and “software-driven” warehouse and distribution center solutions, announced today that its SI Systems’ Production & Assembly brand was awarded an $875,000 contract to provide an automated conveyor system to be used in the manufacture of refrigerators. The contract will be with a Kentucky-based worldwide leader in designing and integrating process equipment for a variety of industries that require thermal solid/liquid separation. SI Systems’ proprietary CARTRAC® precision conveyor system will interface with the process equipment in the refrigerator door foam filling operation for a respected manufacturer of white goods appliances. The CARTRAC system will transport formed metal door shells through a foam fill and curing process. This will be the second such system supplied by SI Systems to this customer and location. Detailed terms of the contract were not disclosed.
